about me

My name is Ben Robinson. Really this is just a blog for family and friends to follow me to make sure I’m not getting in too much trouble and saving me having to write the same email all the time. But everyone and anyone is welcome.

Basically this is my first big bike trip I’m on a very basic bike from a nice man up in Rotherham and we’ll see how far we both get. For the start I’ll be travelling with the infamous Robb and Ania Maciag through Turkey, Syria and Iran and from there I venture on my own. Quite why I’m doing this I don’t know, plenty of people are asking and at the moment I’m just saying “because I can”, but hopefully as this blog progresses we’ll start to figure it out.
